Ghana Ministries Partner to Produce School Supplies and Furniture Through Prison Service Initiative
In a major step toward boosting domestic production and improving educational resources, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Education in Ghana have signed an MoU empowering the Ghana Prisons Service to produce at least 30% of sanitary pads, school uniforms, and school furniture. The initiative aims to support the education sector while promoting skills development and value-for-money public procurement.
